I really like this final design I went for, the film reel is still in there but we also looked at the fist because our main focus is social realism, a genre all about fighting current world issues and problems. The font is rather strange which I also like as it shows individuality.

Film Company Logo Research

Before I made a final decision on my film company logo I did myself a lot of research. I searched around on Google to try and find film company logos and the below are some I found; I liked these ones because most of them contain the old-fashioned film which movies were printed on, I really like this idea as it's classic but can easily be made modern. Also it is something which everyone knows is to do with films. I like how basic the majority of these designs are, they don't give too much away about the companies and their main focus for films.

Questionnaire!

In order to find out the sorts of things our audience would be looking for from our film opening I provided a short questionnaire which I will be giving to a variety of consumers to answer for me.

Genre Research! (continued)

The second genre I decided to research was the social realism genre, I chose to research into this genre because given budgeting and equipment available to us this could be a genre we portray very well. After doing this I decided that this was definitely the genre I desired to create for many reasons; Firstly the different camera shots (ie. locating shots) would be very nice to do considering our location of the rural Wiltshire. Also, I like the way in which Social Realist films are able to play with the audiences emotions and I look forward to taking advantage of this style.
